Supplier Certification Process Fees

The fees for certification with Caviar Veritas can vary based on several factors, including the size of the business, the complexity of the products being certified, and the scope of the certification required (such as multiple product lines or international trade requirements). Although specific fee structures are usually tailored to the business and its needs, here’s an overview of what you might

expect:

1. Application Fee

  • A one-time fee to review your initial application and begin the certification process. This could range from £300 to £1,000, depending on the complexity of the product and the amount of documentation required.

2. Audit and Inspection Fees

  • These fees cover the cost of on-site inspections and audits to verify compliance with Caviar Veritas standards. Fees may range between £1,000 and £5,000, depending on the number of facilities audited and the geographic location. International audits may incur higher costs due to travel expenses.

3. Lab Testing Fees

  • If lab testing is required to verify the authenticity and quality of caviar products, additional fees will apply. The cost of lab testing could vary, but generally, expect £500 to £1,500 per batch or sample tested.

4. Annual Certification Fee

  • After initial certification, an annual fee is typically required to maintain the certification status. This fee covers continuous monitoring, access to resources, and periodic audits. Annual fees start from  £500 per 3 products.

5. Miscellaneous Fees

  • Expedited Processing: If you need faster processing, there may be additional fees for expedited service.

  • Corrective Action Audits: If non-compliances are found during audits, a follow-up corrective action audit may incur additional fees.
